For the record, M855 green tip “penetrator ammo is NOT armor piercing, and was never designed or intended to be. It was actually designed to be a more environmentally friendly “green” ammo, that just so happened to penetrate intermediate barriers (such as car doors & glass) a little better than the previous all-lead core M195. That is something you should seriously correct I your blog, as it is major misinformation.

In fact, it performs even better at fragmenting & breaking apart in soft tissue, this creating a bigger permanent wound cavity, than M195 does. Truly armor piercing ammo woulnt do that.
